Hi There! My Mom has decided to blog my ‘life and times’ as a three legged dog. I had surgery for soft tissue sarcoma removing my left rear leg on October 20, 2009. I went off my food on Oct 25th and had a low grade fever for two weeks. My Mom tried many things to get me to eat…she tried really hard and kept feeding me by hand – one little piece at a time. Those two weeks were very trying for both her and I. We were both so very scared. What was going on? No one could give us any answers. Finally, my fever broke and I started to eat again on my own! Man, was I ever happy about that and Mom was too! I have been eating nonstop since!
Welcome Maggie! We look forward to following your three-legged adventures. Tell your mom there is no need to worry anymore. She is not alone here, by any means.

Welcome Maggie! You are very cute! Keep eating, but let your Mom still spoil you! It is a lot of fun being a tripawd. We are very special and we get lots of attention and treats!!!
I think this blog is a great idea! Now I don’t have to bug you for updates all the time! I think it will also help Mom to heal some too! Love my family in Maine!

🙂 When she was a pup, they were down and then they crossed in the center of her head for quite a while! Thankfully, they got to standing up instead of crossed !!
