Standing Tall!

Standing Tall!

I wont let this snow keep me down!  I am a quick learner and I’m learning how to maneuver on it just as I have the past couple of months.  I don’t think Mom is going to allow me to go snowshoeing and skijoring anymore though 🙁  That’s depressing…but we’ll find places to walk together….on terrain that I can handle.

Maggie was diagnosed with soft tissue sarcoma on her left knee. She had amputation done on October 20, 2009. Four days after surgery she had a low grade fever and was off her food for two weeks! Trying times.. I am grateful and so pleased with how she is progressing now.

  1. Hey Jerry!
Well, that’s how she walks now on a flexi…it’s like Canicross cause I have to most of the time jog to keep up with her faster pace now! She’s much more comfortable moving along faster. I saw the link to Cali! Very cool!! But skijoring is as you know I’m sure, is on ski’s….yikes! I’d be scared we’d get going too fast and I have no brakes and injure Maggie….I use my butt for breaks normally in emergencies but I guess I’d just be scared she’d wrench her remaining leg going too fast….being a protective Mom!!! 😉
